It's now 5:46PM Manila Time, haven't really gotten much sleep, too many distractions, people here at home are already in vacation mode, and add the scorching heat of the sun... perfect right? and to top all of it... I had a slight asthma attack a while ago.
Anyways even with less sleep, I'm now gearing up for work, I might take the public transportation so I could sleep a bit.
Oh btw, I'm hearing some thunder sound, is it about to rain? errr after the heat... comes the rain... so another asthma attack later.... I hope not...
Got to go now... see yah later ...

Blogger once more...
What's new with the blog world? its been more than two years when I last posted something here, a lot had changed already, well aside from me being older, there's a lot of things happened already, people had come and go... still single though, but that would do for now. :p
I've though of blogging again before but yet, I was too lazy to do so... all I wanted to do during my free time is to sleep and eat :) and probably my fans stopped checking on this site a long time ago already.... hahahaha.
Anyways, I promise to update this once in a while, or probably start a new blog site that would discuss different things ...
GTG for now... I need to watch the Ginebra Game :)

Out of the Office : business mode
I've been out of the office for two days now, I've filed a 2 day vacation leave to my manager two weeks ago. I was really looking forward to this day. I'm not going anywhere, not even out of town, I just needed some rest, and time off for myself. It feels good !!! it really helps to get a lot of rest.
Another school year has ended, meaning our family's income is again on halt, time to spend wisely again guys hehehehe. We have a small school which is really the main source of income for my family. We still have receivables but yet we need to spend our money wisely until the next school year comes. As early as now, we're opening the school for enrollment. So to all those who are from Kingstown subdivision in Bagumbong Caloocan, you may drop by to register, we'll be giving discounts to those who will enroll early. Just call us at 9371012 to inquire. (School supplies are free) or visit us at Lots 15 and 17, Blk 10A Kingstown 1 subdivision Bagumbong Caloocan.
Just last week, my folks and my brothers talked about alternative ways on how we could get some extra income. Aside from the summer classes, we're to open also our computer room to the public, yes... you heard it right, we're making it accessible to the public. We've decided to make the most of what we have... since we have some computers used for our computer classes(and still we're going to add more), we'll be opening it up to the public for internet usage, games, etc. Printing and desktop publishing goes with it too. Also my Mom's canteen would also be open for public as a mini grocery and meat store.
At least in doing those things we'll be able to save up on rentals since we already own the place. And the school will not be utilized during the vacation. The school's location is in the middle of the subdivision, just next to the plaza, where the basketball and tennis court is located. Pretty much ideal for a center of commerce hehehehe.
I just hope that everything goes well, I'm planning to have two units of PS2 or Xbox as well to add up.
Lord help us ....
That in all things God maybe glorified.

First Week Action
It has been since March 15 that I was officially appointed or I assumed the post of a supervisor. The past week has been very busy, so many things to do, time was so short that I needed to extend. I haven't transitioned my old tasks and yet I already assumed new tasks probably the reason why I'm feeling some pressure and stress coming in at this point.
I'm not complaining or anything, but I'm just being honest, I think I am overwhelmed with the task that I have right now, seems like I've swallowed much more than I can swallow. Nevertheless, I know I can do this, I'm looking forward to the time that some of my old task will be transitioned to someone, so I could concentrate with my new designation.
Even though I'm quite tired, I'm happy, finally my hard work paid off, and I appreciate that my hard work is being recognized. My manager usually consults me for several thing regarding the team's operations and stuff.... somehow makes me feel important hehehehehehe.
I'm looking into the days to come and hope things get better as I immerse with my current post.
I'll keep you posted, again thanks to all those who believed and Thank God!!

Relaxing Weekend
Thank God for another weekend. It always amuses me on how weekends' really helps in refreshing everybody. Not only that it helps us relax, but it also gives us time to catch up with our friends and family.
So what have I been doing or will be doing for this weekend? Well I think just the usual, stay at home.... I've never really been an outgoing person, during time like this , I would prefer to spend the time on my own. Don't get me wrong I have friends, I have great friends, I love them and I miss them, but sometimes I would like to really keep and give time for myself. Like right now, my folks and my brother went to the mall, but I decided to stay at home alone. I'm contented with what I'm doing, blogging, downloading applications for my phone, updating my friendster and my recently created facebook account (naks), browsing porn (hahahah nah thats a joke).
Wow, God I missed blogging, it's not that I don't have time, but I don't think I have any interesting topic to share... My day seems to be the same each day... well untill just last Monday, that I got another blessing from God, which I am very thankful. Ano un? I'll just tell you guys when it's all finalized ok? hopefully it pushes through, well I have faith that it would. Again Thank you Lord God.
I'd like to dedicate a part of this post also to one of my idols, I'm no rapper but I deeply admire his songs, I've never known him personally but yet I was moved by his music. His songs were part of my childhood till now. Sir Francis Magalona, thanks for the great music, oh oh wait, you know what, I tried singing Kaleidoscope world in magic sing, I usually ended up failing hahahahah. Nevertheless, I enjoyed singing it!!
Cold Summer Nights was one of the songs that I've sang when I was young, and till know I know the lyrics by heart.

Looking back at 2008
2008 wasn't that bad .... there were good things that happened but also there were some down times. Wrong decisions were made, but yet we still are able to make it till today.
What did I learn from 2008? Being thankful ... thankful for everything I have, I learned to treasure life more and what I have. I learned to be humble and be simple. Thankful for the things and people around me. Counting my blessings is better than looking for things that I don't have.
With all that happened in 2008 I hope I grasp all the learning and live by it and hopefully I use them as I go through 2009.
I wish 2009 be better for all of us.... all of mankind...
Happy New Year....

Reginalde - Flores Nuptial
Last December 12, 2008 my cousin Glenn got married, since Kuya Glenn was the eldest among all of our cousins (well at least for the Reginalde side), it was a memorable event to the whole Reginalde Family. I was part of the entourage, as one of the grooms men, it was nice, Church was nice, as well as the reception. Here are some pics taken on that day, I do apologize some are blurred I just got them through my cousin's friendster accounts hehehehe.

Current Events : Thinking Out Loud
Manny Pacquiao vs De La Hoya :
- its good to have someone that really unites the country, well at least for a day. I'm really not into boxing, I rather pay much in watching Brgy Ginebra's game than Manny Pacquiao, but just what I said he is someone who binds the Filipinos united, so I think it's still good to have a Manny Pacquiao. My comment on the match? hmm, is De La Hoya a boxer? hahahaha. The match seemed to be pre-agreed upon. Boxing politics.
Charter Change (Cha-cha) :
- back in college I had a fair share of reading the present Philippine constitution, admittedly there are some parts of the constitution that I personally think needs revision and further checking but is charter change a way to correct all this? Nah I don't think so... even if we change the Philippine constitution and our form of government but we still keep those corrupt and greedy government officials, the Philippines will stay the same........ or probably FAIL more. Maybe we can start with those who are proven corrupt, erase them and their bloodline within politics. That's where I think we should start.
Marky Cielo's death :
- He's too young, just like Rico Yan, Marky died at the peak of his career, he could have done much. Hope he finds peace.
Oil prices slip below $45 per barrel
- this is good news, hope it continues to go down and extends to the next year. Gas price has been a pain in the ass for the past months, it went up so high that I had to decide not to bring my car to work. Good thing it's now going down.

Lord I Offer You My Life
I attended Kuya Glenn's and Ate Acel's wedding just a while ago, and a song during the mass made me reflect and somehow made me realize things. Analyzing the thought of the song made me relaxed, it was so instant and it felt so great. Well it could have been with the singer.... I've listened to the song before, it's really a good song, not only that it has a great lyrics but it has a great tune as well. Anyways, I'll be adding the song lyrics with this post, as for Kuya Glenn's wedding I'll just post the pics soon.
Lord I offer you my life - Hillsong
(Verse 1)
All that I am, all that I have
I lay them down before you, oh Lord
All my regrets, all my acclaims
The joy and the pain, I'm making them yours
(Verse 2)
Things in the past, things yet unseen
Wishes and dreams that are yet to come true
All of my heart, alll of my praise
My heart and my hands are lifted to you
(Chorus)
Lord, I offer my life to you
Everything I've been through
Use it for your glory
Lord I offer my days to you
Lifting my praise to you
As a pleasing sacrifice
Lord I offer you my life
(Bridge)
What can we give
That you have not given?
And what do we have
That is not already yours?
All we possess
Are these lives we're living
That's what we give to you, Lord
Lord I offer you my life - Hillsong
(Verse 1)
All that I am, all that I have
I lay them down before you, oh Lord
All my regrets, all my acclaims
The joy and the pain, I'm making them yours
(Verse 2)
Things in the past, things yet unseen

Keeping Steady
For some unknown reason I got up super early today than usual, its only 12:40pm here in Manila and I'm already up, yes its PM..... I should be nocturnal this week, and for a nocturnal person 12 noon is not good.
Haven't been blogging much recently, I was only able to post 3 articles for November. Why? I'm really not sure, maybe it's my way of trying to be steady, too much rantings and thinking out loud might cause stress to me and to my readers. It would be better that I keep my positive attitude, things will be better .... with God's help of course. Honestly, even though there are still problems around, I think we're in good shape, there's this different positive attitude from my folks and my brothers now. Hope 2009 will be better than this year.
As for work.... hmmm that's another story. It's just that recent that we were trying to adjust with some changes with the team, slowly but surely we're getting there, struggled a bit but we did it, we all hoped that it would be the last ... well at least for the year, but we were wrong. It's just ironic that whenever an episode ends, it always gives some preview of the next episode. Same thing happens in real life. Some changes are yet to come in 2009..... Hope we all could handle it. It's sad but I respect her decision.
Well, I need to get back to never land ..... or else expect downtimes during my shift hahahaha.

Season 3 : Episode 1
Episode one : Life goes on...
Just between the end of October and the start of November, ITHD started its new season. Yes, now we're on season 3, a lot of changes taking place, some people ended their contracts while some just signed up for this new season.
At this point, I'm really not sure how the story would go from here... but nevertheless, I feel optimistic about it. Exciting isn't it? All we can do is take advantage of things that we have right now and try put those we've lost at the back of our minds. Putting a smile each day is not that hard, considering that there are sad moments, this team really knows how to put on a positive attitude.
Hope things go well in the next few episodes.....

Christeta
I wasn't able to sleep that much last night....
When I got home around past 12 midnight, my youngest brother, Jr, was still up preparing for his exams today. As I was eating my late dinner, he informed me that he never saw Tetay when he arrived up to that very time that we were talking.
As a routine, I usually feed the dogs with left overs alternately with their dog food. With my mid shift schedule, our dogs usually eats twice in a night. First is after the usual family dinner, then the second is after my late dinner since I usually arrive at home around 10:30pm the latest.
As I was feeding the other dogs last night, I kept on calling my Artetay's name... but to my surprise.... she never came. At that point I was thinking where she could have gone and was hoping that she's ok.
Just the other week there's this bald, no good and non sense old man from our neighborhood that called our attention claiming that Tetay ran after him when he was on his way home. The bald man was angry and threatened us that he'll do something if it happens again. Having that in mind, I was disturbed. We don't usually allow our dogs to go out of the house, considering that our village has this roaming team that collects stray dogs and detains them near the clubhouse.
It's just that Tetay is a very clever and hard headed dog. She find ways of going out, even if it means that she'll be destroying part of our steel gate. Also there are times that she takes the opportunity when somebody goes out the small gate.
I stayed up late, I was trying to wait for Tetay's knock on the gate, which she usually does when she breaks free, no luck. This morning, my mom got up early checked on the dogs and still Tetay wasn't there. My mom said to check on the club house before I go to work. But being worried with Tetay's condition I asked mom if we could pass by the clubhouse on our way out. So there we went. Before I could even turn off the engine, my mom and I heard a bark from somewhere, which we both assumed that it was Tetay. But the clubhouse was still closed, and we can't see where they have detained the dogs. So mom and I decided to look around, luckily we found the dog cage at the back part of the clubhouse. Yes !!! Tetay's there along with some other dogs, wagging her tail and crying out loud to bail her. Unfortunately the clubhouse is till close, so we asked around how we could bail Tetay out. A nearby resident informed us that the cage keys are with the security guard. So there we went, since mom needs to go to school, I informed the security guard that I'll be back to claim Tetay. So after I brought mom to the nearest public transportation loading, I went back to the guard house and asked what would be the procedure in claiming my dog back. He asked me to come back around 8am, and I need to pay a penalty of 100 since Tetay was detained for a day. So I said ok, just to get my dog back.
So I went back home, ate some breakfast, went online to email something for mom as I was waiting for 8am. But around 7:57am I heard a continuous banging on our steel gate, I thought it was Kenjie trying to get out, but now it was coming from the outside and it seems that who ever is banging it was in a hurry.
So I looked out ..... it was Tetay .... As I was opening the gate, I looked around to check if the security guard is there, but it was just Tetay on the street. I was asking her, how the hell did you get out... obviously she can't answer back. Till now, I'm still thinking how this clever dog could have gotten out that cage. Never the less I'm happy she's back and safe.
Christeta is not an imported dog or anything like that, but our family already loved her for what she is. She's a Christmas gift from my Tita's family 2 years ago. She's stubborn and never listens at times but that is what makes her unique to all.
