Questions

ey its been quite some time since I've posted something here, I guess it was more than a month ago. Its not that I don't have time to blog, but I think that I don't have much to blog about. I think the feeling that I don't like is back... I'm again in the state that I'm over thinking things again.... I dunno, I'm having negative thoughts towards my work and we're having some issues with our family business.

Am I just carried away because of people leaving the company ? am I affected with my co-leagues rampant application to other post / company? Or Am I really overstaying already with my current company ? Maybe its time to move.... but how do I know its the right time.
I guess that's one problem, am I overly relaxed and comfortable with where I am? Don't I have plans in the future ? or have I stopped dreaming?

Last Sat, I was in antipolo with my team mates having our Teambuilding. I was sitting at the corner of the room, having my feet all stretched and listening to some officemates sing. Then this friend "Marvin" sat beside me.... we started our talking and chatting about things... no specific topics actually. We talked about songs, we talked about people, we talked about the future....

Don't get me wrong I like talking with this person, prior to that conversation, we had some great chats, the difference is its only now that we talked about our plans....

Vino, has already resigned and will be on terminal leave till his last day. One striking question he asked me is ... "where do you see yourself 5 years from now?" Interview eh noh? But that question was the thoughest question I got from that friend. To be honest I was stunned, and never got the chance to answer back, well at least not in the nearest 2-3 minutes. Before I could answer he said... "kung nde mo alam, ibig sabihin ala kang goal.." Aray !!! it struck me deep, I wanted to stand and leave him ... hahahaha pero no I have to face it. After that line, there was silence. It was a nearly 10 minute gap that I started to answer back. Sbi ko "nde naman sa walang plans Marvin, nde pa clear yung situation ko, kaya nde ko masabi. I want to go out of the corporate world, I want to have my own business" thats what I told him, And I want it in the near future. 5 years I think would be long, with this feeling that I'm feeling now. Maybe the things that I'm thinking of right now is not even Marvin's concern. Easy for him to say, He's leaving for SG this July to work.

Ang mahirap kasi sakin, ako panganay.... I can't just plan things for myself without thinking of my family. Oo I still have my mom and my dad, but dad is in another country, I have to stand up and be a proxy.... be the head in his absence.... who doesn't want to grow ? who doesn't want to have a bigger salary? I think my mom needs me here more than the money I could bring in. We have a business, which I think would require all our efforts. My physical being would be important more than anything else.

Ey don't get me wrong, I don't hate Marvin for what he said, I guess it was just something that cought me off guard, that my defense was all down. That one line question made me think again ....

Corpus Christi

Yup today is the feast of the Corpus Christi, our subdivision's Feast day. Time to feast and have fun, but I'm really not feeling well since last night. Yes for some unknown reason, I'm not in tip top shape. I was able to sleep late than usual, I got my sleep at around 4:30am, too tired to wake up for mass. Got out of bed at around 12:30 pm, just in time for my Tito and Tita's lunch party. Good thing, their house is just near from ours.

Even though I'm not feeling well, I was able to eat like normal heheheh, I was able to finish two plates. Wala talaga akong masabi sa luto ng mga kamag-anak ko, our family is simply the best in terms of cooking. I guess that's one reason kaya malulusog kami lahat.

At around, 7:30pm kanina, I felt somewhat irritated na, mainit, and I felt like having a shower. Kaya I walked home na to freshen up. Mom and my brothers still stayed in the party, until uwi na ung iba kong Tita.

Now I'm here blogging at my brother's room, kasi medyo nde maganda sa kwarto ko ngayon ginawang CR ng mga tuta ko yung garden just next to my room's windows.

Hope I'll be ok tomorrow, theres so many things to be done sa office, Need to finish a lot, since I'll be out on Wednesday for my birthday.

Movie Rewind...

It has been quite some time since I last blogged, seems like I'm not living up to what I promised that I will be updating this blog once in a while. I'm thinking of using Friendster's blog sites instead of this one, but for now I'll update this.

For the past few weeks/months I've been constantly watching different movies during my rest days. Here are some of the movies that I've enjoyed so far.

The Forbiden Kingdom

- Its a classic movie, no one can really match Jackie Chan !!!! sama mo pa si Jet Li. Movie was very enteraining, no dull moment. It's a movie full of action, martial arts and some comedy.

If your into martial arts and an adventure movie, this movie is for you.

Iron Man

- Another great movie for 2008 from Marvel. To be honest, in the cartoons I'm really not a fan of Iron man, all I know is he is a part of the Avengers. In the old game in Sega, I never used Iron man as a character. But things changed when I watched the movie. Now everything seemed to be interesting with Iron man. Now that it seems that an Avengers movies will be on the way.

Speed Racer

- Speed racer hmm, at first I was excited with this movie. Its one of the coolest cartoons that I've watched before. Movie was ok, specially the races and the stunts, though it was too colorful, too retro. There were some dull moments, at one point, I even felt sleepy. Movie makers incorporated some family drama withing the scenes. Well those scenes were important, but I wouldn't agree to the length of the scene. But never the less it was still a good film.

Well thats all for now, I'm planning to watch Indiana Jones within this week.

4 Day Weekend

Ey Happy Labor Day to all .... hehehehe, yes its a Holiday !!!! Another rest day for me. Spent most of the day sleeping, well its not that I over slept or something, it just happened that I slept late yesterday. Weather was pretty good, cold enough to pull me back to bed. I wanted to go to the mall, but unfortunately its my car's coding today, so I just decided to sleep more hahaha.

Oh one thing I did though was to sing my heart out, yeah you heard me right. Kung umulan sa nyo kaninang hapon? I do apologize, I guess its me who caused it (lol). I was able to sing my favorite songs, No one was home to stop me, the mic was all mine. There was just one thing that stopped me from singing, what ? well the rain was growing too strong that I can't hear myself, and I was afraid that the rain would go stronger because of my song.

Tomorrow. I'll be on vacation leave, so many things to do in the morning. I'll be paying bills, bills and more bills. Tomorrow also will be Lite Ace's last day with us, haaay after 12 years, I'll always remember this van, he thought me everything, he's my first ride. Sa kanya ako natuto at gumaling mag drive. Well we have to give him up, I'm sure he'll be happy with his new owner. I'll miss u Lite Ace....

Sabi nga ni Mom, we don't need to be sentimental about it. We need the money for our school's expansion, and I guess it's about time to change him, we needed something new that would fit the family. Lite Ace already fulfilled his purpose and its about time to move on.

Anyways, more to come this weekend, We'll be going home to the province on Saturday for our reunion, not so sure though if I really like to go home, seems like I want to stay behind. It's not that I don't want to see our relatives, but Solano is so far away, its an 8 hour drive from Manila.

Guess what !!!! Ironman is now showing, I would really like to watch it before we leave for the province hehehehehe. Well anyways, hope everything turns out to be ok tomorrow.

Just Another Sunday....

It's now 7:53pm, I'm here in my room... browsing, nothing important to do. Just checking on some friends through their friendster accounts and blogs. Everything seems to be ok.

I can't think of anything to rant about ... nor any good thing that I could share.... This day has been one of those days that really sailed so smoothly. Very neutral in nature hahahaha.

Tomorrow is a start of another work week, whats exciting though is, it's another PAY week, hahahah, and there's a holiday coming. It's something to look forward to....

Hope Dens, Je and I could go out again soon, oh hope Marge could come also. BTW, Marge Happy Birthday !!!!

Speaking of birthdays, my birthday is fast approaching than expected. Well haven't planned for that day yet but one thing is for sure, I wouldn't like to report for work on that day, so a possible VL on that day.

I'm planning to buy a new phone on that day... It's time to give myself something again hehehehe, Phone or PSP ? hmmm haven't decided yet. I've been looking forward in buying the Nokia N82 Black edition.

Basta balitaan ko kayo kung ano bibilin ko .... Anyways got to go, I need to eat muna.

A different Holiday

In times that I though my day would be dull and redundant.... Something great happened.

Yes, something different happened yesterday, it's one of those holidays that I really enjoyed. I thought my "Araw ng Kagitingan" would just be the usual holiday wherein I wake up late... eat ... go back to bed .... go online ... eat and again go back to bed...

I was wrong, As I was trying to retrieve my Mom's files (which I accidentally deleted), Jericho called and asked me if I could accompany him to a family friend's wake in Claret, having nothing else to do but to retrieve the files, I said yes and agreed to meet up with him at SITC. Before going to the wake we decided to eat first at Chilis in T. Morato. We tried to call Denmar but there was no answer, probably he was still in the Spa with Norvin. Finally when we were about to leave, Dens called and asked us to wait for him.

After some good laughs and reminicing, Dens called Marge. Marge to her excite from monumento she went back to T. Morato to meet us. Now its really a party... we had a great time teasing each other, sharing insights and opinions. Hope the night wouldn't end.

Around 11:30pm were still laughing and all, we almost forgot that Jericho needs to attend to a wake in Claret. So we said goodnight to Marge and headed to Claret. Now here's where the problem started, from T. Morato, we were able to get to the wake at around 1:30am... traffic ? NO. We had a problem with the Car ? NO? Sirit ? there were 3 things, that stopped us from being there... 1. Is the steel gates located all over UP Village. 2. Is Road closed due to constructions. 3. Barangay tanods can't provide us with the right route. Grrrr, this was the only time that I had a hard time going to Claret. Oh well "awa ng Diyos" we were able to pull through.

After that experience with UP village, we decided to have a massage, Jericho suggested that we go to Wencha in Pasay. It sounded very far from where we were but hey, its already early Tuesday, no traffic and we got there in just less than 30 minutes.

As we enter the locker room, I saw this pool on the Spa's wet floor area, like Jericho I decided to have a dip in the pool, or use the steam room. Everything seemed to be ok, I took a shower, then went straight to the steam room, it was great sarap mag papawis. The place wasn't that crowded that day, though there were some people who kept on walking in and out of the steam room to the shower and to the pool. As if they were looking for something. One challenge though was going in the pool ..... without other people seeing .....it (gets?) I think there's something wrong with the physical setup of the wet room. A movie is projected to a big wall for viewing, but the wall is in front of the pool, so every one watching the movie will be able to see everyone who dips in the pool. So just imagine, how you would be able to dip in the pool without beeing seen naked? challenging right ? How did I do it ? secret c",)

After a good bath, we headed for the massage. As usual, tuloy pa rin ang kwentuhan naming tatlo till we got the chance to sleep.

I was able to reach home around 6am Tuesday, I still have my shift at around 1pm. It's a big sacrifice to have only a few hours sleep but then again, I wouldn't like to trade this experience with my friends to anything else. Bihira lang kami lumabas na tatlo, but yet it rocks when we meet....
