Season 3 : Episode 1

Episode one : Life goes on...

Just between the end of October and the start of November, ITHD started its new season. Yes, now we're on season 3, a lot of changes taking place, some people ended their contracts while some just signed up for this new season.

At this point, I'm really not sure how the story would go from here... but nevertheless, I feel optimistic about it. Exciting isn't it? All we can do is take advantage of things that we have right now and try put those we've lost at the back of our minds. Putting a smile each day is not that hard, considering that there are sad moments, this team really knows how to put on a positive attitude.

Hope things go well in the next few episodes.....

Christeta

I wasn't able to sleep that much last night....

When I got home around past 12 midnight, my youngest brother, Jr, was still up preparing for his exams today. As I was eating my late dinner, he informed me that he never saw Tetay when he arrived up to that very time that we were talking.

As a routine, I usually feed the dogs with left overs alternately with their dog food. With my mid shift schedule, our dogs usually eats twice in a night. First is after the usual family dinner, then the second is after my late dinner since I usually arrive at home around 10:30pm the latest.

As I was feeding the other dogs last night, I kept on calling my Artetay's name... but to my surprise.... she never came. At that point I was thinking where she could have gone and was hoping that she's ok.

Just the other week there's this bald, no good and non sense old man from our neighborhood that called our attention claiming that Tetay ran after him when he was on his way home. The bald man was angry and threatened us that he'll do something if it happens again. Having that in mind, I was disturbed. We don't usually allow our dogs to go out of the house, considering that our village has this roaming team that collects stray dogs and detains them near the clubhouse.
It's just that Tetay is a very clever and hard headed dog. She find ways of going out, even if it means that she'll be destroying part of our steel gate. Also there are times that she takes the opportunity when somebody goes out the small gate.

I stayed up late, I was trying to wait for Tetay's knock on the gate, which she usually does when she breaks free, no luck. This morning, my mom got up early checked on the dogs and still Tetay wasn't there. My mom said to check on the club house before I go to work. But being worried with Tetay's condition I asked mom if we could pass by the clubhouse on our way out. So there we went. Before I could even turn off the engine, my mom and I heard a bark from somewhere, which we both assumed that it was Tetay. But the clubhouse was still closed, and we can't see where they have detained the dogs. So mom and I decided to look around, luckily we found the dog cage at the back part of the clubhouse. Yes !!! Tetay's there along with some other dogs, wagging her tail and crying out loud to bail her. Unfortunately the clubhouse is till close, so we asked around how we could bail Tetay out. A nearby resident informed us that the cage keys are with the security guard. So there we went, since mom needs to go to school, I informed the security guard that I'll be back to claim Tetay. So after I brought mom to the nearest public transportation loading, I went back to the guard house and asked what would be the procedure in claiming my dog back. He asked me to come back around 8am, and I need to pay a penalty of 100 since Tetay was detained for a day. So I said ok, just to get my dog back.

So I went back home, ate some breakfast, went online to email something for mom as I was waiting for 8am. But around 7:57am I heard a continuous banging on our steel gate, I thought it was Kenjie trying to get out, but now it was coming from the outside and it seems that who ever is banging it was in a hurry.

So I looked out ..... it was Tetay .... As I was opening the gate, I looked around to check if the security guard is there, but it was just Tetay on the street. I was asking her, how the hell did you get out... obviously she can't answer back. Till now, I'm still thinking how this clever dog could have gotten out that cage. Never the less I'm happy she's back and safe.

Christeta is not an imported dog or anything like that, but our family already loved her for what she is. She's a Christmas gift from my Tita's family 2 years ago. She's stubborn and never listens at times but that is what makes her unique to all.
