Going through Life's Stresses.

Around 9:58pm October 29 my Bedan brother Jericho called. He was somewhere noisy, I think I missed half of what he was saying, the thing that I understood was that he was asking me how I was doing. He said something that it seems that I'm in a lot of stress right now and it seems that I have lots of things in mind.... Hmmm.... Am I ? hahahah. Well I did answer back, all I said was that I'm ok,and Yes a bit stressed but "tama lang" (just enough). I then said that I was sorry for not being with him and Denmar last week, I was quite busy with some things to help Mom out.

So am I stressed? Am I not ok? Is Jericho right? I'm not sure how my bro was able to formulate that, but I guess he's right. If you are a regular reader of my blog, you'll probably know that from my previous posts, but with regard to my bro, I don't know... I'm not even sure if he even knows that I have this blog. Well never the less, to keep the story short here are the answers....

Are you ok ? Yes, if ok means I still look forward to live each day and try to make it better than the previous day. And yes if ok means that I still call on the Lord to help me with my daily activities and at the end be thankful for what I have and what had happened.

Are you stressed? Yes..... there are changes in my life now that makes me uncomfortable. New things that I'm not sure how to deal with ... Don't get me wrong, this is not just within me, but also with the people around me, people whom I care for. I feel that I must do something .........

Some people say this is normal.... hmm so ok it's normal but does it have to be always? and should it be a part of a routine? I hope not.

Well anyways, I try to be ok..... I try to be optimistic.... I pray to God ........

I Don't Want to Live on the Moon by Ernie

I Dont Want to Live on the Moon - Jim Henson

Well, I'd like to visit the moon
On a rocket ship high in the air
Yes, I'd like to visit the moon
But I don't think I'd like to live there
Though I'd like to look down at the earth from above
I would miss all the places and people I love
So although I might like it for one afternoon
I don't want to live on the moon

I'd like to travel under the sea
I could meet all the fish everywhere
Yes, I'd travel under the sea
But I don't think I'd like to live there
I might stay for a day there if I had my wish
But there's not much to do when your friends are all fish
And an oyster and clam aren't real family
So I don't want to live in the sea

I'd like to visit the jungle, hear the lions roar
Go back in time and meet a dinosaur
There's so many strange places I'd like to be
But none of them permanently

So if I should visit the moon
Well, I'll dance on a moonbeam and then
I will make a wish on a star
And I'll wish I was home once again
Though I'd like to look down at the earth from above
I would miss all the places and people I love
So although I may go I'll be coming home soon
'Cause I don't want to live on the moon
No, I don't want to live on the moon

Blogging must go on.

I've been preventing my self from blogging these past few days, I really don't want to use my blog site as a venue to air out my disappointment and anger over some things or even for someone. Events in the office are somewhat stressful and uncertain, It has been one hell of a season ender. I know this thing shall pass, and just what I've said in my messenger nick, "I'll be ok"

Well, I'm just happy now that the week already ended, and it ended in a positive note. I spend my Friday night with my friends in QM. We ate at "Banchetto" (a food tiangge at Emerald Ave.) and headed for Medical city to visit Chammy who just recently gave birth to "Wok-wok". We had a lot of stories to catch up with.... One night was not enough for everything, that's why we're planning to have another out of town trip very soon.

I was able to reach home around 6am, I tried to have a power nap for I was expecting a call from my friends in IT for our breakfast get together. I got the call around 8am, they we're on their way. So I rushed to the shower and got dressed. We had a very enticing breakfast in a bulaluhan here in Fairview. After the breakfast, we decided to further enjoy the day by doing some other bonding activities, we were suppose to go to the La Mesa Eco park, but traffic here in Fairview was very disastrous this morning. So we decided to just visit a nearby restaurant with a videoke system. It was so fun, though it was a bit weird to have fun and have some alcohol that early. Never the less, I enjoyed it, and I think everybody did. Hope we'll be able to do it again soon.Just a while ago my best friend dropped by. His office is near my place. It has been a while since I last saw him, though we communicate via text and call, its good to see him again. We had a good talk and some laughs but since it's getting late, he had to go home.

Well I guess that would be it for now, I'm still going to hear mass tomorrow and pray that the coming week will be better for all of us.Have a great and blessed Sunday to all.

SunRise 10/16

It's been a week since I last posted something here, it just seemed that I was not in the mood to blog even though there's so much thought in my mind that I'd like to share. I was roughly out of shape last week, I've been kinda grumpy and lazy hahahaha, well enough of that!! Hey, its a brand new day!!! I must start this day positively, I need to smile, I need to be optimistic and believe that today will be a better day.

I woke up early today because I had the chance to sleep early last night as simple as that hahahaha. I got up around 5AM, sat in front of my computer and started checking some news sites. My computer is directly located next to a window, a window that directly gives me a view of the beautiful sunrise.Today is one of those rare days that I got to watch a beautiful sunrise. As I was experiencing this God given grace, I hoped and wished for a better day. A stress free and exciting day for all of mankind.

This day seemed to be truly promising, nothing can beat this experience, a beautiful sunrise, some relaxing mellow music playing in the background and the fragrance of a very appetizing breakfast.

Walk With Good

FACE TO FACE WITH DARKNESS I WILL HEAD FOR THE LIGHT
TRAVEL DOWN THIS LONELY ROAD THROUGH THE DARK OF NIGHT
I WILL NOT WALK HURRIEDLY NOR WILL I WANDER AIMLESSLY
I WILL KEEP IN MIND WHERE IT IS I WANT IT TO BE

(Chorus)

[I WILL SIDE WITH GOOD / I WILL WALK WITH GOOD]
I BELIEVE IN GOOD
[I WILL / AND I] WALK WITH GOOD AND I WILL BE FREE
I WILL SIDE WITH GOOD
I BELIEVE IN GOOD
SAY I WALK WITH GOOD AND I WILL BE
I WILL BE [FREE / THERE]

EVEN LESS TEMPTATION DRIVE YOU REALLY DOWN
I WILL BE PATIENT, I WILL STAND MY GROUND
I WILL NOT LET EVIL WIN, PRAY THAT ALL MY FOES BEGIN
TO UNDERSTAND, TO COMPREHEND, TO SEE INSIDE WITH GOOD

(Repeat Chorus)

Bridge:
I WILL BE GUARDED BY WHAT I KNOW IS RIGHT
AND I WILL SEE THE LIGHT OF DAY
FAITH AND HOPE, TRUTH AND LOVE I KNOW
ALL GOOD WILL FIND A WAY

THROUGH THIS TRIBULATION I WILL DO WHAT I SHOULD
NO FEAR NO HESITATION I WILL WALK WITH GOOD
DOWN THIS NARROW PATH I GO
I WILL NEVER BE ALONE
IN MY HEART I KNOW THERE ARE MILLIONS LIKE ME

(Repeat Chorus)

IE, FireFox and Chrome

From the first time I've gone online to the point that I've been a regular Internet surfer, I have been a consistent user of the Internet Explorer. I really wouldn't like to praise this software much for I too had some problems with it before. It just happened that one good thing about this browser is that it comes bundled with Windows, no doubt, its far more accessible than other browsers that you still need to download and install. My brother had downloaded Mozilla FireFox before, but I seldom use it. Some friends suggested that I use Mozilla instead of the IE, but I never listened. IE has been working fairly for me, aside from the times that it became so vulnerable to spy wares.

But just recent, when I was watching "Convergence" on Net 25, they featured a new browser created by Google. It is called the "Chrome". Chrome was described to be a simple and modernized browser, so after the show I decided to download it.Now I have 3 browsers on my machine, I have the IE, the FireFox and the Chrome.

Well to compare all three, it seems that the FireFox is my new favorite. It's faster and I haven't gotten any problem with it. As for the new Google Chrome, I dunno, I really can't say much still since it still a beta version, though I encountered some problems a while ago with Flash, I have Flash installed but it seems that the browser is not detecting it. Hmmm maybe it needs restarting. Never the less, I think I'm going to use Mozilla for a while.

Week Review

This week was smooth and nice, not until the last part. Well considering that there's an extra rest day because of a national holiday, things rather became complicated as we were ending the week.

Monday - Everything seemed to be ok, Budget running a bit low, but still manageable. A bit disappointed, salary wasn't credited that day. We've all been hoping, hahahaha it could have been a better Monday.

Tuesday - Now budget is almost dried up hahaha. Salary was credited earlier during the day. Yahooooo. Also the thought of going to an extra rest day the next day is all so overwhelming.

Wednesday - Free day !!! well even though I'm on a rest day, I decided to drop by the office to finish some important reports. OT HOLIDAY !!! hmmm an extra income this 15th payroll. The sad part here is that I had a little bit of something with Jesley. Its nothing personal, it just happened that I guess I was on a tight situation that time. Pressured by the "test" thing. Oh also when I was in the office, HR called and informed me regarding my interview with IA.

Thursday - Back to the usual day, but hey when Thursday comes, you'll always feel that another weekend is coming real soon. The team also had some training that day. Its also my interview day with IA, did I pass??? Hmmm never mind. Just when I thought that my day would end just like the other days, I was wrong. Before I got out the office I got a call from my mom, my aunt was rushed into the hospital cause she was having some asthma attack. And now, the hospital that she was currently confined could no longer support her, since it was a small hospital. So I need to go there and fetch them so we could transfer hospitals. That didn't end there. In the new hospital, my aunt needs to be subjected to different test, since the doctor did not recognize or was having second thoughts with the results of the small hospital's tests. And so she did.... during that time I haven't eaten anything for dinner, I told my mom that I need to eat. The only thing near was a set of vending machine. Good thing I have lots of coins and 20 peso bills. So I got myself and mom a cup of coffee and hot Milo then some crackers and some cup cakes. We waited at around 4AM I think for the result. Since my aunt's condition improved the doctor decided to send us home, but if the same thing happens within the day, she needs to come back for confinement. Before we went home, we drove by Mercury drugs for some meds and nebules for the nebulizer. I was able to sleep around 5:30AM.

Friday - Since I slept late and I was tired, I decided to move my schedule at a later shift, I advised my manager and my supervisor about it. With a longer sleep, I was able to recover and arrived in the office at around 2PM. Finished some work, reserved the videoke room for some relaxation after the meeting. Went home around 11:22pm and now, I'm finishing this blog post so I could sleep.

Well that was my whole week, hope my aunt's condition gets better soon. My Aunt's family is staying with us for the weekend, actually I have my cousin sleeping near me, every time he snores it causes me to stop typing, hahahah, well never the less later on I'll be joining him, possible a jamming session coming up. Hahahaha.

Well I guess that's it for today, I'm starting to feel fatigue coming in, for the first time, I could say that I'm sleepy. hahahahha.

To Jesley : I'm really sorry with what happened, I know you hated me for that. It was a very honest reaction my friend. I got disappointed, I vent out, I never thought that people will talk about that reaction. I just became true to what I felt, but it was I guess with the situation, pressured by the thought that I am to be tested and all. I never told everyone with what happened, it was just Zai and Sol who were near me and heard my sentiments. I've learned from this experience and I promise that it would never happen again. Thanks for being a friend.

Another Holiday : Edi'l Fitr

Finally another national holiday !!! Today is the last day of Ramadan (Muslim Religious Tradition),which they call it Edi'l Fitr. That's why to all my Muslim countrymen, happy holiday to you guys.

Guess what!finally I was able to sleep well last night, considering the fact that I was able to sleep early. I just wish it continues. Even though I'm on a rest day today,I still got up early, well I think it's something usual for someone who slept early, Hmmm let me correct that, not that early but earlier than usual, you know what I mean. I'll try to drop by the office a bit later at least for a 4 hour OT just to finish some reports. I don't usually do this, it just happened that my manager asked me to surrender the laptop that I was using for VPN access. BUT and IF hahaha it rains hard later, I really wouldn't force myself to go to work. We'll see later.

Oh btw, we also have this typhoon named "Pablo" coming in today. Metro Manila is under signal number 2. I just hope it wouldn't rain that much and the signal number is another PAGASA mis-calculation. Hahahaha.

Anyways, I need to eat breakfast now, till my next post people.
